Life Recovery Coaching
If you want to start feeling good about yourself, stop doing the things that make you feel bad
The thing with recovery is it’s easy to do, but it is easy not to do. This is where recovery coaching comes in to make it a whole lot easier. Life recovery coaching focuses on the future and creates a vision and action plan for recovery.
There is no one-size-fits-all approach to recovery, which is why the recovery plan is tailor made for each of my clients. Recovery coaching changes old patterns and habits to establish new constructive behaviors while alleviating the old destructive ones. You will learn to take your recovery on like you did your addiction; putting the same amount of attention, willingness, thought, money, and whatever else you threw at your addiction into recovery.
Recovery coaching is about learning the tools for living a life free of substance use. While unique to each individual, recovery coaching is focused on 6 key rules of recovery:
-
Be honest. Stop hiding sh*t.
-
Practice humility. (It’s not thinking less of yourself, but thinking less about yourself)
-
Have an attitude of gratitude.
-
Be of service to others.
-
Avoid tempting situations.
-
Find a higher power. (something greater than yourself to believe in)

I would not be here today if it were not for him. I am grateful every day for the opportunity to work with him. I give him my wholehearted endorsement.

"One thing that you have taught me through love and action... don't give up on the hopeless. There is always hope. We can't do this by ourselves and I would not be here without you. Sleep well, David. You made a difference in the world today."
I deliver honesty, yet compassion.
As your life recovery coach, I will deliver brutal honesty. I won’t buy into your excuses, sympathies, and blame games. I’ve heard it all before and more importantly, I have said it all before. Recovery requires immense work. It might be uncomfortable, but no more so than the discomfort that substance use disorder brings. It’s only when we get to the root of the pain that it releases its hold and power over us and true recovery occurs.
If you or a loved one is ready to get on the path of recovery and stay there, I am here to lead the way. The destination can’t be changed overnight. But through small and consistent changes, a new direction pointing towards a new destination emerges.
We don’t hesitate to think of hiring a coach in sports or in the workplace when we want to have a winning season or bring more to the bottom line. But it is of utmost importance when we are talking about the consequences of life or death in recovery. As a recovery coach it is my mission to help each and every client meet their goals in life and recovery by creating a vision and an action plan.
